AN ACT INCREASING THE PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FOR VETERANS DEEMED PERMANENTLY AND TOTALLY DISABLED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-81 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from taxation one hundred per cent of the value of property belonging to any veteran who has been deemed permanently and totally disabled by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the property tax exemption for veterans deemed permanently and totally disabled.
