AN ACT CONCERNING A PROPERTY TAX BREAK FOR VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-81 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from property tax property to the amount of ten thousand dollars belonging to veterans who have served for at least two years in the armed forces and to require a payment in lieu of taxes for any revenue lost because of such property tax exemption.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a property tax break to veterans.
