AN ACT CONCERNING NUMBER PLATES FOR VETERAN MEDAL RECIPIENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, at the request of any veteran having earned a "V" for valor, silver star, Navy cross, Air Force cross, Coast Guard cross, distinguished service cross, congressional medal of honor, Navy and Marine Corps medal, soldier's medal, airmen's medal or Coast Guard medal, to issue special number plates reflecting the particular medal such veteran was awarded.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide special number plates for veterans having received certain medals.
