GENTILE, 104th Dist. SEN. CRISCO, 17th Dist. REP. CONROY, 105th Dist. REP. KLARIDES, 114th Dist. AN ACT EXEMPTING DISTRESSED MUNICIPALITIES FROM MONEY MATCH REQUIREMENTS FOR STATE EDUCATION GRANTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to exempt distressed municipalities, as defined in section 32-9p of the general statutes, from any money match requirements for state grants for education. Statement of Purpose: To give distressed municipalities the opportunity to more readily apply for education grants by not requiring that they satisfy any money match requirement.
