AN ACT REQUIRING ANNUAL REPORTING ON DELINQUENT TAX SETTLEMENTS ENTERED INTO BY THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Revenue Services to report annually to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to finance, revenue and bonding on all settlements entered into by the Department of Revenue Services with delinquent tax obligors during the prior calendar year.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Revenue Services to report annually regarding all settlements entered into with delinquent tax obligors during the prior calendar year.
