AN ACT REQUIRING DISCLOSURE OF CERTAIN CAMPAIGN EXPENDITURES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapters 155 and 157 of the general statutes be amended to require that a candidate committee shall file a disclosure statement with the appropriate authority for each expenditure made by such committee for the compensation of any campaign consultant, employee or paid volunteer.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure complete disclosure and transparency of campaign spending for staff.
