AN ACT CONCERNING THE REDUCTION OF SCHOOL-BASED ARRESTS OF STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require local and regional boards of education to enter into memorandums of understanding regarding the circumstances and criteria under which a student can be arrested at school.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce school-based arrests.
