AN ACT CONCERNING DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENINGS FOR CHILDREN. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require each health care provider completing a health assessment for an infant or child up to age five indicate on the health assessment form whether or not the child has received a developmental screening. Statement of Purpose: To ensure children are screened, that the results are shared across early childhood settings, with parental consent, and to increase opportunities for early intervention.
