AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN ADVISORY COUNCIL ON RARE DISEASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to establish an advisory council to coordinate state-wide efforts for the study of incidents of rare disease and the status of persons having rare diseases.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish an advisory council to explore the issue of rare diseases and make recommendations for improving awareness, funding and assistance to persons suffering from rare diseases.
