AN ACT CONCERNING THE ALLOCATION OF VO-AG OPERATING FUNDS FOR A FULL-TIME FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA EXECUTIVE SECRETARY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-65 of the general statutes be amended to allocate ninety thousand dollars of the total appropriation for the agricultural science and technology education center operating grant for the purpose of hiring a full-time Future Farmers of America executive secretary who shall be directed by the Connecticut State Agriscience Advisory Committee and who will work at and in cooperation with the UCONN College of Agriculture's Cooperative Extension Service to coordinate all intracurricular Future Farmers of America leadership development programs and activities in the state's agricultural science and technology education centers.
Statement of Purpose:
To allocate ninety thousand dollars from the total appropriation for the agricultural science and technology education center operating grant for the purposes of hiring a full-time Future Farmers of America executive secretary.
