AN ACT CONCERNING A PERSON'S ABILITY TO CHOOSE A COURT- APPOINTED THERAPIST OR HEALTH CARE PROVIDER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that a court, when ordering that a person receive treatment or an evaluation from a therapist or other health care provider, shall allow the person to choose the therapist or health care provider that is to provide the treatment or evaluation.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that a person is allowed to choose a therapist or health care provider when such person is ordered by a court to receive treatment or an evaluation.
