AN ACT CONCERNING STATEMENTS BY JUVENILES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 46b-137 of the general statutes be amended to extend legal protections concerning admissibility of statements to all children under the age of eighteen years of age, regardless of the court's jurisdiction.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect children from undue influence by adults in authority in the absence of a parent or guardian.
