AN ACT CONCERNING RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITIES FOR YOUNG ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 17a of the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot program for supportive and sustainable residential communities for young adults with developmental disabilities, including, but not limited to, autism spectrum disorder.

Statement of Purpose: 

To address the need for residential and community services for young adults with developmental disabilities.
