AN ACT CONCERNING COMMUNICATION BETWEEN POLICE AND CHILD DAY CARE CENTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 528 of the general statutes be amended to require a member of the Division of State Police within the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection or of any local police department to notify a licensed child day care center or group day care home of any ongoing shooting incident or other emergency in the vicinity of such center or home.
Statement of Purpose:
To require state and local police to notify child day care centers of ongoing shooting incidents or other emergencies.
