AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT AT THE GAFFNEY SCHOOL IN NEW BRITAIN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (18) of section 10-282 of the general statutes, or any regulation adopted by the State Board of Education or the Department of Administrative Services pursuant to said section, requiring that not less than seventy-five per cent of a building to be renovated is at least thirty years old, the extension and alteration project at the Gaffney School in New Britain (Project No. 089-0167 EA) shall be considered for renovation status.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the extension and alteration project at the Gaffney School in New Britain to be considered a renovation project for the purposes of a school construction grant.
