AN ACT REQUIRING DISCLOSURE OF FEES FOR THE PROCESSING OF INSURANCE PREMIUM PAYMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require insurers to disclose to their applicants and insureds any fees charged by such insurers or agents of such insurers for the processing of premium payments.
Statement of Purpose:
To require insurers to disclose to their applicants and insureds any fees charged by such insurers or agents of such insurers for the processing of premium payments.
