AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH INSURANCE RATE INCREASE REQUESTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require the Insurance Department to hold a public hearing on any health insurance rate increase request of more than ten per cent.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Insurance Department to hold a public hearing on any health insurance rate increase request of more than ten per cent.
