AN ACT REQUIRING A PHASE-OUT OF THE HOSPITALS TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 211a of the general statutes be amended to phase out the hospitals tax over a five-year period by reducing it twenty per cent per year.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tax relief to hospitals by phasing out the hospitals tax over a five-year period.
