AN ACT CONCERNING THE NONDISCLOSURE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES OF CERTAIN INFORMATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 14-10 of the general statutes be amended to allow a federal law enforcement officer who lives in Connecticut but does not work in the state, to shield such officer's home address from disclosure by the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Statement of Purpose: 

To allow a federal law enforcement officer who lives in Connecticut but works in another state to shield such officer's home address in the same way a federal law enforcement officer who lives and works in Connecticut currently may.
