AN ACT SUBJECTING THE UCONN FOUNDATION TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 47 of the general statutes be amended to subject any foundation, as defined in section 4-37e of the general statutes, that is established for The University of Connecticut, to the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, as defined in section 1-200 of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To subject the UConn Foundation to the Freedom of Information Act in order to guarantee accountability and openness.
