AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY ON REPORTS OF THREATS AND ASSAULTS AGAINST HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Public Health to conduct a study of hospital policies and practices concerning reports of threats and assaults against hospital employees.
Statement of Purpose:
To study the prevalence of assaults and threats against hospital employees and hospital policies and responses relating to such incidents.
