AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR AUTOMATED BED TRANSFER SYSTEMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 700c of the general statutes be amended to require health insurance coverage for automated bed transfer systems in insureds' dwellings that operate to transfer an individual from such individual's bed to a wheelchair with no manual lifting.
Statement of Purpose:
To require health insurance coverage for automated bed transfer systems in insureds' dwellings that operate to transfer an individual from such individual's bed to a wheelchair with no manual lifting.
