AN ACT CONCERNING PAYMENT TO AN AMBULANCE SERVICE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit an ambulance service from attempting to collect payment for services from an insured person before the ambulance service receives a notice from the insurer declining to pay for the service.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect patients.
