AN ACT CONCERNING INFANT SAFE SLEEP PRACTICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to require hospitals to provide informational materials regarding recommended safe sleep practices for infants, including American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations concerning safe sleep practices, to parents after the birth of a child at the hospital.
Statement of Purpose:
To facilitate and encourage safe sleep practices and prevent avoidable infant deaths.
