AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID APPLICATIONS PROCESSED BY NURSING FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require skilled nursing facilities which process Medicaid applications for applicants to provide a complete copy of the application to the applicant or a person designated as the responsible party for the applicant.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow patients or families access to Medicaid applications completed by skilled nursing facilities.
