AN ACT CONCERNING EQUALIZING MEDICAL ASSISTANCE GUIDELINES FOR HOME CARE AND INSTITUTIONAL CARE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Social Services to apply the same eligibility and reimbursement guidelines to home care as to institutional care.
Statement of Purpose:
To apply the same medical assistance payment guidelines to participants of the Connecticut home-care program for the elderly as applies to institutionalized persons.
