AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID COVERAGE OF CHIROPRACTIC SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. Section 17b-28e of the general statutes is amended by adding subsection (d) as follows (Effective from passage):
(NEW) (d) Not later than July 1, 2015, the Commissioner of Social Services shall amend the Medicaid state plan to include treatment by a chiropractor licensed under section 20-27 as an optional service covered under the Medicaid program.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To provide Medicaid coverage for chiropractic services.
