AN ACT EXPANDING AGING IN PLACE INITIATIVES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, to expand programs that provide or facilitate community and home-based care for persons who are elderly or who have Alzheimer's disease.
Statement of Purpose:
To commit additional state funds to expand access to aging in place initiatives that are less costly than institutionalized care.
