AN ACT INCREASING THE CAP ON THE BUDGET RESERVE FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4-30a of the general statutes be amended to increase the amount of surplus transferred into the Budget Reserve Fund from the current maximum of ten per cent of General Fund appropriations.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the cap on the Rainy Day Fund from the current maximum of ten per cent of General Fund appropriations.
