AN ACT PROVIDING STATE FUNDS FOR THE OCCUM FIRE DEPARTMENT TO REPLACE OUTDATED GEAR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of forty thousand dollars be appropriated to the Department of Public Safety, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, for a grant to the Occum Fire Department to purchase new turnout gear to replace outdated gear.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide state funds to the Occum Fire Department to replace outdated safety gear.
