AN ACT PROVIDING FUNDING TO THE CONNECTICUT RETIREMENT SECURITY BOARD FOR THE MARKET FEASIBILITY STUDY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to appropriate funding to the Connecticut Retirement Security Board for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, to ensure completion of the market feasibility study and implementation proposal for the creation of a public retirement plan.

Statement of Purpose: 

To ensure the Connecticut Retirement Security Board has the resources necessary to fulfill its mission of developing a public retirement plan to address the growing retirement crisis in Connecticut.
