AN ACT EXTENDING THE BAN ON THE USE OF LAWN CARE PESTICIDES TO SCHOOLS THAT HOUSE GRADES NINE THROUGH TWELVE AND TO STATE FACILITIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to extend the ban on the use of lawn care pesticides to schools that house grades nine through twelve and to state facilities.

Statement of Purpose: 

To extend the ban on the use of pesticides and reduce health hazards.
