AN ACT REQUIRING DISPENSATION AND COVERAGE OF A PRESCRIBED DRUG DURING REVIEW OF AN ADVERSE OR FINAL ADVERSE DETERMINATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require health insurers to dispense and cover a prescribed drug for an insured for the duration of any grievance or review filed or requested by such insured of an adverse determination or a final adverse determination.
Statement of Purpose:
To require health insurers to dispense and cover a prescribed drug for an insured for the duration of any grievance or review filed or requested by such insured of an adverse determination or a final adverse determination.
