AN ACT CONCERNING FOREIGN WORKER RECRUITMENT FEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) prohibit foreign labor contractors from charging recruitment fees to recruited workers, and (2) require foreign labor contractors to provide full disclosure of employment conditions when recruiting potential workers.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect employees from improper labor practices.
