AN ACT CONCERNING HAZARDOUS DUTY RETIREMENT FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 5-192f the general statutes be amended to include the director or assistant director of the Emergency Response and Spill Prevention division within the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection under the definition of "hazardous duty member" for purposes of the state employees retirement act.
Statement of Purpose:
To include certain members of the Emergency Response and Spill Prevention division within the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection in the definition of "hazardous duty members" for the purpose of the hazardous duty retirement credit.
