AN ACT CONCERNING TAXATION OF ANTIQUE VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 12-71 of the general statutes be amended to provide that once documentation demonstrating a certain motor vehicle is antique has been submitted to the municipal assessor, such evidence need not be resubmitted annually thereafter.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit assessors from requiring annual proof of antique vehicle status to be provided for property tax purposes.
