AN ACT REGARDING IDENTIFYING RESIDENTS IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 102 of the general statutes be amended to establish a municipal pilot program in which persons who are late paying water bills are identified for outreach by municipal or state social services staff to determine their need for public assistance.
Statement of Purpose:
To identify residents with unmet needs.
