AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN ENHANCED ACCIDENT RESPONSE PLAN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Transportation, in consultation with the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection, to develop and implement an enhanced accident response plan designed to efficiently alleviate traffic congestion caused by accidents on Interstates 84, 91 and 95, and that the plan be developed by January 1, 2016.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioners of Transportation and Energy and Environmental Protection to develop an enhanced accident response program.
