AN ACT CONCERNING A PILOT PROGRAM OF SPEED MONITORING SIGNS ON ROUTES 66 AND 6.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to institute a pilot program for the Department of Transportation to put up speed monitoring signs along Route 66 and Route 6, to demonstrate visually how fast drivers are traveling.
Statement of Purpose:
To enhance public safety by providing more awareness to individual drivers about their actual speed.
