AN ACT CONCERNING NOTIFICATION TO MUNICIPALITIES OF LOCATIONS FOR REENTRY HOUSING IN RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 18 of the general statutes be amended to establish a mechanism whereby municipalities will be notified of the placement of reentry housing in residential neighborhoods within the municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide necessary information to potential host communities of possible housing of reentry offenders.
