AN ACT CONCERNING PRETRIAL RELEASE ALTERNATIVES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 960 of the general statutes be amended to allow in the case of nonviolent offenders who do not have the means to post bail an alternative pretrial release system.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase equity in the justice system.
