AN ACT CONCERNING ENHANCED PENALTIES FOR ASSAULTS AGAINST RAIL PERSONNEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That part V of chapter 952 of the general statutes be amended to provide for enhanced criminal penalties for assaults on train conductors, engineers, ticket takers, signal persons or rail station agents.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide increased protection against assaults for rail personnel.
