AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL FLOOD ZONE MAPS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that the flood zone map prepared by a town engineer is the final and official map and that such map shall be used in any banking or insurance transaction.
Statement of Purpose:
To follow FEMA dictates requiring that local flood zone maps be the official map.
