AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF BAMBOO STAKES TO MARK SHELLFISH BEDS IN LONG ISLAND SOUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of bamboo stakes to mark shellfish beds in Long Island Sound.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve water safety in Long Island Sound.
