AN ACT INCREASING THE PERSONAL NEEDS ALLOWANCE FOR LONG-TERM CARE RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 17b-106 and 17b-172 of the general statutes be amended to increase the personal needs allowance to seventy-two dollars and seventy-five cents per month for long-term care facility residents who receive medical assistance.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide badly needed funds for the personal needs of nursing home residents.
