AN ACT CONCERNING A COST-OF-LIVING INCREASE AND RATE INCREASES FOR SKILLED NURSING FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Social Services to provide (1) a cost-of-living increase in rates set for skilled nursing facilities that is equal to or greater than the cost-of-living increase for Social Security beneficiaries, and (2) rate increases to compensate for increases in costs for utilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a cost-of-living increase and needed rate increases for skilled nursing facilities.
