Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. Subsection (a) of section 10-29a of the general statutes is amended by adding subdivision (69) as follows (Effective from passage): (NEW) (69) Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month. The Governor shall proclaim the month of April of each year to be Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month to heighten public awareness of the associated presentation and available treatments for Parkinson's disease. Suitable exercises shall be held in the State Capitol and elsewhere as the Governor designates for the observance of the month.
