AN ACT CONCERNING THE SOUTH FIRE DISTRICT OF MIDDLETOWN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The sum of ____ dollars is appropriated to the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, for the purpose of a grant to the South Fire District of Middletown for fire services provided to the state facilities in and around Connecticut Valley Hospital, including the Whiting Forensic Division, Albert J. Solnit Psychiatric Center, South Campus and Connecticut Juvenile Training Center.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To appropriate moneys from the General Fund for certain fire services provided by the South Fire District of Middletown.
