AN ACT ELIMINATING LEGISLATOR FRANKING PRIVILEGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 2 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of public funds for the payment of the postage costs of members of the General Assembly, except for new registered voter letters.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the costly franking privileges of members of the General Assembly.
