AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDS APPROPRIATED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) Any funds appropriated to the Department of Developmental Services in section 1 of public act 15-244, section 155 of public act 15-5 of the June special session and section 1 of public act 15-1 of the December special session, for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2016, and June 30, 2017, that are remaining in any account of said department at the end of each such fiscal year shall not lapse in accordance with section 4-89 of the general statutes and shall continue to be available to the Department of Developmental Services to be expended only for the purposes for which such appropriations were made or for the purpose of providing services to persons with intellectual disability.

Statement of Purpose:
To require funds appropriated to the Department of Developmental Services that are unexpended at the end of fiscal years 2016 and 2017 remain available for expenditure by the department.
